Easter

We had a great Easter this year with lots of celebrating! First off, Spencer celebrated his 31st birthday the Friday before Easter. On his birthday we met up with our friends the Duncan's, went out to dinner, then back to their house for birthday cookie (Spencer would much rather have a cookie than a birthday cake!) and egg dying for the kids. Jill even bought this really fun egg dying machine so the kids didn't even have to get messy....a HUGE plus for me!!! They enjoyed being able to push down on the button and watching the egg swirl round and round until it was covered in dye.

Then Easter morning the kids woke up to find a trail of jelly beans starting at their bedroom doors and then going all the way downstairs to where their baskets were waiting. I think Audrey enjoyed the jellybeans more than her actual Easter basket!!
Owen with his loot! The binoculars were a big hit!
Then after  church we went to my brother's house for an AMAZING egg hunt and Easter dinner. My brother and Allison have hosted Easter the last 2 years and have done a wonderful job. They hide around 200 eggs all over their front and back yards, and all the eggs are filled with treats!! This year they had some GIANT eggs (see the pink one near Audrey) filled with all kids of toys, clothes, and fun things for my kids. Aren't they best Aunt and Uncle ever? My kids think so!!
Such a fun day. Thanks again to Cody and Allison for making Easter that much more fun for my kiddos!!

What a blast. I wish I got an Easter egg that big! Holy smokes! And I want one of those egg dye machines too!
