Tri Guy

I am so proud of my husband!! On Saturday Spencer competed in his very first triathlon with his friend, Jeff. He has been training for this race for awhile now so it was fun to actually see him reach his goal of completing a triathlon. Between Jeff's wife, Janae, and myself we got six children up super early to go watch their dad's compete. Luckily the triathlon was in our own city, so we didn't have to travel far. Spencer swam, biked, and ran his way to the finish line, finishing three minutes faster than he had anticipated!! We had a blast watching and cheering for him during the transitions. Spencer said that he was most nervous about the swimming, but that ended up being his favorite part about the race. We are so proud of him!!
