Owen and Kaelyn have been friends since they were babies. They were born only 6 days apart. This year they both wanted to have birthday parties at Jumping Jacks, so Jill and I decided to just throw one awesome party for the both of them together! I was extremely grateful to have Jill help me out with the party because I was a stress case during this time and there was no way I would have been able to pull anything off on my own. We had just moved into our new house and life was still extremely chaotic. But my little boy was only going to turn five once so we were able to put together a pretty fantastic party for both Owen and Kaelyn.
Here are the two birthday kids. They are both getting so big! Not only did Owen want to have his party at Jumping Jacks he also wanted it to be a superhero party, which is why he is wearing a mask and a cape in most of the pictures.
Best buddies. Owen and Jackson
All of the kids had a blast bouncing and playing for 1.5 hours. This was a great place to have a party. We had the party on a Friday morning so we were the only people in the entire place.....so fun!!
After bouncing we all got to go into the party room for lunch. Although there were three giant tables to sit at ALL of the kids decided to cram onto one of the tables. They were really cute all sitting together. Lunch was pizza, drinks, salad, fruit, chips, and fruit snacks. All of Owen's favorites.
Then came time for presents!!
Then cake. It was kind of funny because last year one of the other kids blew out Owen's birthday candles before he got to and the same thing happened again this year! Poor Owen!! Of course we re-lit the candles and he had a chance to do it, but it was still a little comical that it's happened two years in a row now.
All in all it was a great day and a great place to have a birthday party. It was a lot of fun to have both old and new friends attend the party. It was even more fun that Owen and Kaelyn got to have their parties together! Fun memories.
