Preschool (sort of) Graduation

Audrey has had such a great time in preschool this year. She had the most amazing teacher who Audrey just adored. We are really going to miss her next year. Not only was Mrs. Sara the best the kids in the class were really great too! There were 6 girls and 3 boys in the class. It was a nice change for Audrey to be around more girls than boys, she loved it! Audrey went to school 2 days a week for 3 hours and learned so much!!! She already knows all of her alphabet and the sounds that they make. She can write her name and write other words if I spell them out to her. Her social skills have drastically improved and best of all preschool has helped Audrey with her mood swings, outbursts, and crazy tantrums, which are in no means gone, but she has come a long way. I'm so very proud of my sweet Audrey girl!

Today was the last day of preschool. The class put on a special performance and Mrs. Sara took time to talk about each child individually. It was really sweet and the kids did a great job! It takes a special person to be a preschool teacher, I could never get 9 small children to perform on cue!

It wouldn't be a graduation if you didn't get to throw your cap into the air!
This was my favorite thing. Audrey had to draw a picture of herself and write her name on the first day of school and again on the last day of school. You can see that the teacher had to write her name on the first day. A great improvement! That will go right into the scrapbook for sure!!

Audrey loved all the kids in her class, but I think Macy (above) was her favorite. They're just too cute! Mrs. Sara's 2013-2014 preschool class: Jillian, Kendra, Jenna, Cate, Macy, Tad, Bryce, Audrey, and Jack.
