Last night Spencer and I hosted our 9th Christmas party. This year's theme was celebrity couples. Spencer being Spencer wanted to be something crazy so Dora the Explorer and Diego is what we came up with. We even got the official backpacks!
It was really fun to see the costumes our friends came up with.
Rachel and Nephi as John Lennon and Yoko Ono
Rachel and Creighton as Duck Dynasty stars Korie and Willie Robertson
Scott and Haley as Kanye West and a blonde Kim Kardashian
John and Kristin as Simon and Garfunkel
Brian and Allison as Westley and Princess Buttercup from the Princess Bride
Bryan and Kathryn as Wayne and Garth
Cody and Allison as Sheldon and Amy Farrah Fowler from the Big Bang Theory
Heidi and Ned as Maverick and Goose from Top Gun
Richard and Kelly as Sarah and Todd Palin
Suzie and Jared as Grace and Philip from the Philip skits on SNL
The standouts from the night were the group who dressed as the Saved by the Bell cast. They did such a great job!! Wes and April came as Zac and Kelly
Jill and Paul as Jessie and A.C. Slater
A unrecognizable Taryn as Lisa Turtle and Ryan as Screetch
I didn't get a ton of pictures of all the crazy games we played, but this game where teams had to turn one person into a Christmas Tree was pretty hilarious. I love how into it everyone gets!
Planing and executing the Christmas party every year is very time consuming and can be somewhat stressful, but it is always worth it. The parties are always a blast and we love seeing all our friends all in one place. The party tonight was no exception, it was a big success and I think everyone who came had a great time!
